Salman Khan starrer Race 3 was released this year on Eid. Action thriller got distressed reviews from fans and critics. Race 3 was part of race franchise produced by Salman Khan films and Tips Music. Recently makers released one more song "Ek Galti" which was also not liked by Bhai Fans. Overall Race 3 was Disaster for Salman Khan and Company. Race 3 was opened with awesome numbers.
The film had a good weekend as Salman Khan films do but after 3-day business Race 3 was fallen down. Films collected 105 crores from the 1st weekend. Thriller flick collected overall 148 crores from 1st-week business. Race 3 Box Office Collection fallen down day by day due to the word of Mouth.
Race 3 Collected overall 175 crores from the 2 week business. 14-day business was not enough for Salman Khan film and after that Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju came at the box office and shattered Box Office Records. Race 3 was typical Salman Khan with lots of action but rest of the cast was not good enough for Salman Bhai.

Race 3 needed 170 crores to get profit for distributors which put them in margin share. The Thriller Drama collected overall approx 180-182 crore from 3-week business. Overall film was HIT for makers and distributors. Salman Khan fans and Race franchise able to make such a disaster film to Hit position. Previous race series film were Hits and able to gain support for this drama flick.
Reasons for Low Business:
Race franchise previous 2 films starring Saif Ali Khan were hits. This time Salman was the lead star who not able to put Race franchise on new heights. The main reason was co-stars of Salman for the low business. Race 3 was starring Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem.
All the co-stars have a good relationship with Salman Khan and that why they got this movie. Salman needs to stop doing such social service for friends. Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem didn't act properly in the movie.
Salman Khan's was job to get the opening, the rest depends on whether the director and script can match people’s expectations. Remo D'Souza direction and story was not good enough to make 200 crore club. Salman Khan biggest mistake was to rope Remo D'Souza as director of the movie. Previous films of Race franchise were directed by Abbas-Mustan. Abbas-Mustan is known for their slick and fast-paced thrillers.
Remo D' Souza is more comfortable in making dance films like ABCD and ABCD2, which have done good business at the box office. Whenever Remo tried to do other then dance genre movie he failed to make an impact. A Flying Jatt and Race 3 Prime examples of Remo D' Souza failure.
Salman Khan Future:
Tubelight and Race 3 were released on Eid and both not able to make an impact on Box Office. Salman Khan's time not going well. Bhai known for Eid hits. He gave some blockbusters like Sultan and Bhajrangi Bhaijaan on Eid. Eid means Bhai and Bhai means Eid movie, this trend going on from last 4-5 years.
Coming to the future of the superstar not looking bright. After 2 average movies Salman Khan working with Tiger Zinda Hai director. Titled Bharat story of middle-class man. Bharat is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar who is known for good content movies. Bharat is an important movie for Salman Khan's career.
Salman can't afford one more average movie. Katrina Kafi leading lady for Bharat movie. Bharat is based on the Korean film Ode To My Father. Bharat film will also star Disha Patani, Tabu and Sunil Grover in important roles.
